PRACTICE, REPETITION, CONSISTENCY: ANYONE CAN DO IT

There’s no difference between you and the person you look up to most in life. The person who’s success you witness and think ”Wow, I wan’t to be like them one day”. The fundamentals of your existence are the same. What matters is the choices you make, how much you believe in your potential to raise the bar, and how familiar you are with practice, repetition and consistency.

WE ALL GET 24 HOURS IN A DAY

In other words it doesn’t matter what your circumstances are, what you have or what you don’t have. What matters most is what you choose to do with your time. Do you choose to let your time slip into a routine that gets you nowhere, or do you infuse everything you do with the passion to manifest your dreams.

It’s up to us. We are the only ones solely responsible for our actions, no one else is going to do it for us. We have to take action. We have to put our minds to hard work. We have to hit the grind day in and day out. It’s about the warrior’s mindset.

PRACTICE, REPETITION, CONSISTENCY

Whatever it is you want to do, set a goal and if you are consistent in your training and your practice you will reach it. Just repeat those small steps you are taking. Let’s say you want to perfect your handstand, learn how to do a back tuck or double your max dead-lift. Practising, studying and consistently improving your training will get you there. It’s only a matter of time.

Make sure your practice is proper, make sure it is high quality practice, don’t just work hard, work smart too. Learn about your field inside-out.

SET GOALS AND CREATE A VISION

Set goals for yourself to push your practice further and further. A good way to set goals is to write them down. Write them down and give yourself a period of time to reach your desired outcome.

Start with the one most important to you and ask yourself ”What would I need to do to get reach this goal?”, ”How would a master of the handstand train, how did he/she reach that level?” (For example).

Study what the masters do, study those around you who are successful already. We have the internet now, these things are easier than ever. Study these people and do what they do. And then…

RAISE THE BAR

Not only should we model success from those who are already living it (do what successful people do), but we should aim to raise the bar even higher. Anything is possible, and it has been seen throughout history countless times that when one person breaks through a boundary many people follow in that person’s footsteps. This is because once the barrier has already been broken it’s easy to know that it is achievable. If someone else can do it, why can’t you?

What if we were creative enough, what if we were so creative with our dreams that we were the ones to make history. What if we were the ones to ”do it for the first time”. We can be pioneers, it all comes down to how big we dream and how consistent we are with our work.

SO…

Whatever it is you want, write it down, give yourself a time frame to reach it, reverse engineer the path to getting it (the journey you will take), and then take a consistent, steady, unyielding approach towards achieving it.

Visualise yourself getting it done, your future self has already done it, so go ahead and start working. It’s only a matter of time.
